Handmade Cloth Art Doll

Mini Madchen are small 8” cloth dolls inspired by traditional painted wooden peg dolls, this is my take on a classic.

Hand painted wooden heads on a cloth cotton body. Little dresses, pants, and blouses are sewn with various calico cottons and linen fabrics. Their sweet boots are made from ultra sewed faux leather. If they happen to be wearing knits, expect them to be made with either wool, silk, or mohair... and typically hand dyed bu some of my favorite indie dyers.

Machen can change their clothing, which is what makes them the most fun! It’s a bit of a fiddly process because the dolls are so small... I don’t recommend them for small children, but rather for collectors whole are young at heart ❤️

Pumpkinhaus dolls are ready to go, and would love to come to your house... and take a ride on the bus into the city, for some scones, maybe.
